Definitions
On-ramp and off-ramp services in the context of cryptocurrency refer to services that allow users to convert between cryptocurrencies and traditional fiat currencies, such as the US dollar or the euro.
An on-ramp service enables users to purchase cryptocurrency using fiat currency. These services typically allow users to fund their accounts using bank transfers or credit/debit cards and then use the funds to buy cryptocurrency on an exchange or other platform.
An off-ramp service, on the other hand, allows users to convert their cryptocurrency back into fiat currency. These services typically allow users to sell their cryptocurrency on the platform and withdraw the proceeds to a bank account or other financial account.
On-ramp and off-ramp services can be useful for individuals and businesses that want to use cryptocurrency as a means of exchange or store of value, but also want the option to easily convert their cryptocurrency back into fiat currency when needed. These services can also be useful for people who want to buy or sell cryptocurrency but do not have a way to directly exchange it with others.
Terms of Service
- Introduction
These terms of service (the “Terms”) govern your use of our on-ramp and off-ramp service (the “Service”) for the purchase and sale of cryptocurrency using fiat currency. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
- Eligibility
To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. You must also be a resident of Italy.
- Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account (the “Account”) and provide us with certain personal and financial information, such as your name, email address, and bank account details. You must ensure that this information is accurate and up to date at all times.
- Purchasing Cryptocurrency
To purchase cryptocurrency using the Service, you must first fund your Account using a bank transfer or credit/debit card. You may then use the funds in your Account to purchase cryptocurrency on the platform. The cryptocurrency will be credited to your Account once the purchase is complete.
Upon your request, the cryptocurrency will be credited directly to your externally owned wallet or to a smart contract delegated to store the funds. Such entities will be identified and accepted during the operations.
- Selling Cryptocurrency
To sell cryptocurrency using the Service, you must transfer the cryptocurrency to your Account. You may then sell the cryptocurrency on the platform and withdraw the proceeds to a bank account or other financial account.
- Fees
We may charge fees for using the Service, including fees for purchasing and selling cryptocurrency. These fees will be disclosed to you before you complete a transaction.
- Risk Disclaimer
Cryptocurrency is a highly volatile and risky asset. The value of cryptocurrency can fluctuate significantly and may even become worthless. You should carefully consider whether purchasing or selling cryptocurrency is suitable for you in light of your financial situation.
- Limitation of Liability
We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service, including loss of cryptocurrency or loss of profits.
- Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Italy.
- Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. If we make changes to the Terms, we will post the revised version on our website and update the “Effective Date” at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
